How to merge images
- Choose two or more images. The order follows the order you pick them.
- Pick Stacked vertically or Side by side, then set the gap and background if needed.
- Press Download to save the result as JPG or PNG.
Tips
- Put the most important image at the top (for a stack) or on the left (for side by side).
- Images of similar size look tidier. Resize them first if needed.
- Use Side by side for before-and-after comparisons or two-photo halves.
- PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency. JPG is smaller for ordinary photos.

Good to know
Merging places the images, in list order, onto one new canvas. Nothing is stretched or cut; each image is centered along the other axis.
- Images are not stretched, so their aspect ratio stays. If sizes differ, the smaller image leaves empty space at its sides, filled with the background you choose.
- The gap and background fill the space between and behind the images. For a transparent background, choose PNG.
- Merging very high-resolution images can be slow on an older phone. Use fewer images or shrink them first.
Common questions
How many images can I merge?
Up to 20 images at a time, each up to 50 MB.
Do the images need to be the same size?
No. Images can be different sizes. Smaller images get background padding at their sides so the result stays tidy.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is processed in your browser on your device and is not sent to a server.
Should I save as JPG or PNG?
PNG for screenshots, text, or images with transparency. JPG for ordinary photos when you want a smaller file.
Does merging lower the image quality?
Each image is drawn once onto the canvas. For JPG, quality follows the quality setting you choose.
