Print Sheet
Put your ID photo on a 4R or A4 sheet, ready to print.
or pick one from your device
Choose photoHow to make a print sheet
- Choose your ID photo, or drop it on the box. A photo that already has the right background works best.
- Pick the photo size and the paper. The sheet below shows how many photos fit.
- Press Download JPG for a print shop, or Download PDF if you print it yourself.
Tips
- Use a photo that is already cropped and has the background colour you need. If it does not, make it first with ID Photo.
- Print at 100 percent, also called Actual size. Turn off Fit to page, or the photos will come out the wrong size.
- At a print shop, give them the JPG and ask for a 4R print. They can also cut the photos for you, so you can switch the cutting lines off.
- If a different layout fits more photos, the tool turns them sideways by itself. The Grid box tells you when it did.
- Use Photo position to move the crop up, down or sideways, so the face stays in the frame.

Good to know
The sheet is made at 300 dpi, which is the usual quality for photo printing: 1200 x 1800 pixels for 4R and 2480 x 3508 pixels for A4. The photos keep 5 mm of space around the edge of the paper and 2.5 mm between each other.
- Your photo is cut to the shape of the size you choose, from the middle outwards. It is never stretched.
- Very small photos can look soft when printed. The tool tells you when your photo has fewer than about 150 pixels per inch at the chosen size.
- The PDF page has the exact size of the paper, so it prints at the right size when scaling is off.
Common questions
Which sizes can I make?
2 x 3 cm, 3 x 4 cm and 4 x 6 cm, on 4R paper (10 x 15 cm) or A4.
How many photos fit on one sheet?
On 4R paper, a 2 x 3 cm photo fits 16 times, a 3 x 4 cm photo 8 times and a 4 x 6 cm photo 4 times. A4 holds many more, and you can choose fewer.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The photo is processed in your browser on your device and is not sent to a server.
How is this different from ID Photo?
ID Photo removes the background and sets the colour, which needs an AI model of about 25 MB. Print Sheet only arranges a photo you already have, so it loads fast and needs no model.
Why are my photos the wrong size when I print?
Most print dialogs scale the page to fit. Choose Actual size or 100 percent, and turn off Fit to page.
