Terms of Use | Velfile

Using Velfile

These terms apply when you use velfile.my.id (Velfile). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Velfile is

Velfile is a free set of file tools for images and PDFs that run in your browser. It is an independent project run by one person, with optional accounts and no file storage. The About page describes what the tools do and what they do not do.

Your files

Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to Velfile, so Velfile never receives or keeps them. They stay yours. Only use files you own or have the right to process. You are responsible for what you do with the results.

Acceptable use

Do not use Velfile for anything illegal, or to infringe other people's rights.
Do not use the tools to forge or alter documents in order to deceive, or to sign for someone without their permission.
Do not try to disrupt or overload the site, or copy it wholesale with automated tools.

Check your results

Results depend on your file and your device. Compression can lower quality, and the ID Photo tool cannot promise that an agency or employer will accept the result, because their requirements differ. Keep your original files and check every result before you use or send it.

No warranty

Velfile is provided "as is" and "as available", free of charge, with no promise that it will always work, be error-free or be available. To the extent the law allows, Velfile and its owner are not liable for lost files, lost data, or any other loss that comes from using the site.

Limits and changes to the service

Tools have file size and page limits, shown on each tool page. Velfile may change, limit or remove tools at any time.

Third-party software and services

Velfile uses open-source libraries and AI models from other parties, which keep their own licences. Ads come from Google AdSense. The Privacy page lists the outside services the site contacts.

Ownership of the site

The design, text and code of Velfile belong to its owner, except for third-party libraries. You are welcome to link to Velfile. Please do not copy the site or its guides and present them as your own.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the bottom shows the latest version. If you keep using Velfile after a change, you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
