If something did not work

It helps a lot if you include:

• Which tool you used
• Your device and browser (for example Android with Brave)
• The file type and roughly how big it was
• What you expected, and what happened instead

Please do not attach private files. A description or a screenshot is enough.

Ideas and tool requests

Velfile started with a small set of tools and grows from what people need. If there is a file task you often do and no tool for it, write and describe it. It helps to say what you start with, what you want at the end, and why the tools you have tried did not do it.

Before you write

• Each tool page has a short list of common questions with answers, such as why a PNG does not get smaller or why a PDF barely changed.
• The Guides explain common jobs step by step, like making a photo smaller for an upload or merging PDFs.
• The Privacy page explains what happens to your files.

What we cannot help with

Velfile does not upload your files, so there is nothing stored on a server to recover. If a result was lost or a download did not save, the tool needs to be run again with your original file. Velfile also has no accounts, so there is no login to reset.
