Tips
- A straight, bright, sharp photo gives the most accurate result.

Good to know
Text recognition is done by an OCR engine in your browser. Your image is not sent to Velfile's servers.
- The first time, your browser downloads a few MB of language data, so you need an internet connection. After that it is usually faster.
- Handwriting, tilted photos, and blurry images often don't read well.
Common questions
Why is the result wrong or messy?
Usually the image is blurry, dark, or tilted, or the chosen language doesn't match. Retake the photo with better light, or pick the right language.
Why is it slow the first time?
Your browser has to download the OCR engine and language data first. That only happens at the start, then the work runs on your device.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is processed in your browser on your device and is not sent to a server.
Which languages are supported?
Right now Indonesian, English, and Spanish. One run uses one language.
Can it read a scanned PDF?
Not directly. Turn the PDF pages into images with PDF to JPG, then drop those images here.
