Good to know
Each page is drawn on a canvas in your browser and saved as a JPG. The result is a picture of the page, so the text in it can no longer be selected or searched.
- Limits: up to 50 pages per run, and 100 MB per file. For a longer PDF, split it into parts first with Split PDF.
- The longest side of each image is capped at 4000 pixels, which is plenty for screens and for printing at normal sizes.
- If you only need the text, copy it from the PDF itself instead of converting it to pictures.
Common questions
How many pages can I convert at once?
Up to 50 pages. For longer PDFs, convert one range at a time.
Why won't my PDF open?
A PDF locked with a password can't be read. Remove the password first.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is processed in your browser on your device and is not sent to a server.
Do I get one image per page?
Yes. Each page becomes its own JPG, and you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Why is the image file large?
High detail keeps more of the page's sharpness, which makes the JPG bigger. Choose Standard or Small file for lighter images.
