Drag the signature to move it.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF or drop it on the box.
- Draw your signature in the box with your finger or mouse, or press Upload image to use a picture of your signature.
- Pick the page, then drag the signature to the right spot and use Size to make it fit. Tick the box if it should go on every page.
- Press Sign PDF, then Download PDF.
Tips
- Draw slowly and fill the box. A bigger drawing gives a smoother signature.
- To use a signature from paper, sign on plain white paper in dark ink, take a straight, well-lit photo, and use Upload image. The white background is removed.
- Move the signature onto the signature line, then use Size so it sits neatly above the line and does not cover other text.
- This adds an image of your signature. It is not a certified digital signature, so use it where a picture of a signature is accepted.
- The signature is placed in a new file. Your original PDF is not changed.
Common questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It places an image of your handwritten signature on the page. Many forms and applications accept that, but some contracts need a certified digital signature or a witnessed one. Check what the receiver requires.
Is my signature or my file uploaded?
No. The signature and the PDF stay in your browser on your device and are not sent to a server.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Tick "Put the signature on every page" to place it at the same spot on all pages. To sign only some pages, run the tool again on the file you just made.
Will it work on scanned pages and pages that are turned sideways?
Yes. The signature is placed to match the way the page is shown, so it stays upright.
Can I type my name instead of drawing it?
Not yet. You can draw your signature or upload a picture of it.
