ID Photo (Pas Foto)
Turn a portrait into a 2x3, 3x4 or 4x6 ID photo with a red, blue or white background.
or pick one from your device
Choose photoHow to use it
- Choose a portrait photo or drop it on the box. The tool removes the background by itself. The first time it also downloads a small AI model, about 25 MB.
- Pick the size and the background colour. Drag the photo to move it, and use Zoom to make the face bigger or smaller.
- Choose One photo or Print sheet 10 x 15 cm, then press Download.
Tips
- Use a photo taken straight on, with your face and shoulders in view, good light, and no strong shadows.
- A plain wall behind you gives the cleanest edges, especially around hair.
- Put the top of your head a little below the top edge and keep your face in the middle. Drag and zoom until it looks right.
- The print sheet is a 10 x 15 cm page (the usual 4R photo paper) with thin guide lines, so you can print and cut the photos out.
- Some schools and offices pick red or blue by birth year or purpose. Check what yours asks for.
- If the form limits the file size, make the photo here, then shrink it with Compress Image using Target size.

Common questions
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Your photo stays on your device and is processed in your browser. Only the AI model file is downloaded, from public servers (jsDelivr and Hugging Face), and your photo is never sent there.
What size is the result?
The pixel size matches the print size at 300 dpi: 2 x 3 cm is 236 x 354 px, 3 x 4 cm is 354 x 472 px, and 4 x 6 cm is 472 x 709 px.
Can I use it for a passport, ID card or visa?
Official documents often have strict rules about head size, position, lighting and background. This tool suits school, work and general forms. For an official document, check the rules first, or have it taken at a photo studio.
Why are the edges around my hair rough?
The AI works best with even light and a plain wall behind you. Try another photo with softer light, or zoom in slightly so the rough edge sits outside the frame.
Can I make a photo with a different background colour?
This tool offers red, blue and white, the colours used most often. For other colours, use Remove Background to get a transparent photo.
